What kinds of companies do you work with?
We work with all kinds of businesses. To give you a sampling, we’ve assisted city communication offices, solopreneurs, a manufacturing company and retail electric providers, helping both B2B and B2C companies, as well as municipalities.
It doesn’t look like you’ve worked with a company in my industry. Can you still help me?
Absolutely. We are experts in digital marketing, which means we can help any company in any industry deliver their messages. We’re eager to learn new things and excited to share insightful messages to your audience, whoever they may be.
Even though you might think that no one would be interested in reading articles or emails from your company, we assure you that we can identify and communicate valuable information to your customer base.
Do I really want to put in the effort to introduce an outsider to my company and its operations?
Well, that’s ultimately up to you. However, marketing consultants can bring a refreshing perspective and take some of the workload off your full-time employees.
Plus, we can rid your messages of industry jargon. Just because experts in your field use certain terminology doesn’t mean your customers use it or have even heard of those phrases.
Also, consultants are the way to go if you:
- Don’t have the time to do the marketing yourself
- Don’t want to do the marketing yourself
- Don’t know how to do the marketing yourself
Do you work with every company that contacts you?
No. Sometimes companies can achieve a greater benefit in the immediate future from other services, which we point out, while other times we do not have the bandwidth to commit to a project. We’re small by design, and turning down work is necessary to ensure our clients get the attention and resources they deserve.
Why should I hire you to write blog articles or website copy when I can do it myself?
With a little training and practice, you can do this on your own. However, writing for the web is different from all other kinds of writing. The structure is different, and there are best practices that must be used to keep your audience engaged. Companies find our services valuable because we are already experienced web writers, which means they can get their projects done faster without sacrificing quality.
Plus, some technical knowledge is required to show up in search results. For instance, a blog article won’t bring you any traffic from Google searches unless you have the appropriate meta data. Don’t know what meta data is? We should talk.
How quickly will I see a return on my investment?
This depends on your goals, what’s needed to reach them and how quickly your company can make decisions.
If you don’t have any meta data on your site and we correct it, then you could see search traffic to your site start to increase after a few months. However, if you start engaging on a social media platform or blog, we recommend a commitment of at least six months, preferably a year, before you decide to switch gears.
What content management systems (i.e. WordPress) do you work with?
This site is run on WordPress, which is one of our favorites. We also have experience with HubSpot, Joomla, and custom content management systems. We’re quick learners and can adapt to any platform you throw at us.
How does pricing work?
We’ve found that no two projects are exactly alike, so once we discuss your goals, needs and budget, we will send you an estimate for the necessary services. Depending on your project, we’ll either price by the project or use an hourly rate.
If the scope changes after we start, then we let you know how that will affect the overall investment.
I understand more about what you do, but what kind of people are you?
We love fielding this one! Here are our three core beliefs:
- Education empowers people to make better lives for themselves.
- We all share responsibility to thoughtfully use our assets, whether it’s money or natural resources.
- By combining different skills and life experiences, we achieve more together than we do individually.
Plus, we strive to treat all our customers how we’d like to be treated.
